Smoldt Moving & Storage, Inc. maintains a 15000 sq. ft. temperature controlled warehouse facility on the north side of Des Moines, near Ankeny, IA which helps us rank with the best of Iowa Movers. The warehouse is in a safe secure location and is monitored by an off site fire & security company. We have also added a 2nd 15000 sq. ft. location on the west side of Omaha, NE. Both warehouses are state of the art facilities. We are a military approved site which includes regular inspections by the government.

Our care doesn’t stop at the warehouse door. By using the latest protective padding and maintaining the cleanest facilities, we wash away any uncertainty over permanent storage or storage in transit.
Storage cost are calculated based on weight and days in storage. Once we know this information, we can give you a quote on your storage cost - this helps us as Iowa Movers to better meet your needs.
